If you don’t know Kumeu River wines, we’re not really sure you can call yourself a NZ wine lover… but don’t worry after this intro you will never forget the name again. For those of you who have already sipped away on the world class wines (even according to Jancis Robinson) this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
We’ve been lucky enough to secure Marijana Brajkovich for a few hours, and who better to take you through the range than herself. She is an enormous asset to Kumeu River with background is in international hospitality, sales, and marketing. Plus growing up as the daughter of Kumeu River family arms Marijana with all the ‘inside’ details you ought to know.
The Brajkovich family have played a key role in the industry and they continue to harvest their grapes at Kumeu and refine their winemaking skills. They are nationally known as a founding family of the New Zealand wine industry, and the current generation have a well-earned reputation internationally for producing world class Chardonnay - of which you will get to try many this night we promise!
Trust us you will need to be early for this one - it’s first in, first served. Get there at 5.30pm to ensure your name’s on the list, kick off at 6pm and we will have a selection of the Kumeu range for you to get your hands on after!
Please ensure you arrive as close to 6pm as possible to get your name ticked off and applied to one of the 3 tasting sessions we will run between 6pm - 8pm. There are plenty of street food vendors and bars at Pop Brixton (however we’d prefer you to have a drink at ours) In case you have some time to kill before your allocated session. Remember these events are FREE and we encourage you to purchase a bottle as a small token of your appreciation for us putting these events on.
