Red Blend Wine

“Red blend” on a label lets you know this red wine has been made with more than one grape variety.

Red blends produced in cool climates tend to be more light and bright. Warmer climates allow red blends to be bolder and darker. Red blends allow producers to get creative – designing a wine and discovering new flavours depending on how they mix the grape varieties. A great example of this is Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot.
